Shipping Information

We have shipped puppies to several different states and flying for your baby is safe. The airlines take very good care of the puppies. They ship puppies and other animals on a daily basis.  Food is always taped to the top of the carrier and food and water dishes are attached to the front of the carrier. If the puppy is delayed the airline will feed and water the puppy as it is stated on the feeding instructions attached to the crate.

If the puppy has a lay over that is longer than 4 hours or if it is delayed longer than 4 hours he or she will be kenneled and the shipping price is subject to change. He or she will be picked up from the airport and taken out of the crate to go for a walk and potty. He or she will be fed and watered and taken back to the airport for their flight. I put information on the crate with the new owners name and number, puppy’s picture, date of birth, and name.

Continental Airlines now has their own kennel building with their own employees taking care of the animals.

We use Continental Airlines if possible, because with Continental Airlines there are no temperature restrictions. Continental uses climate controlled transportation to and from the airplane. Continental has flights out of Oklahoma City twice a day that can take live animals. One flight is at 6:45 am and the other is at 4:35 pm. Both of these flights go through Houston to connect with another flight that will take them to most major airports.

We have also used Delta, Northwest, and American. With these airlines shipping itself depends on the Temperature. These airlines will not ship a puppy if the temperature is above 85 degrees or below 20 degrees at any stopping point during the flight. If the temperature is forecasted to be above or below these temperatures the airlines will not accept the puppy for transport.

The charge for the puppy to be shipped is $250. This includes the airline fee, crate, health certificate, and transport to the airport.
