At birth:  weight is taken and recorded—repeated daily for the first week and weekly thereafter

3 days old:   puppies’ dewclaws are removed

1 week old:   puppies’ nails are clipped—repeated weekly or as needed

2 weeks old:    mother dog is de-wormed with Strongid-T for 3 days

4 weeks old:   mother dog and puppies are de-wormed with Strongid-T for 3 days

5-7 weeks old:    vet check; puppies begin the weaning process, transitioning to Eukanuba small breed puppy food

6 weeks old:  puppies are vaccinated with a combination vaccine; mother dog and puppies are de-wormed with Panacur for 3 days

8 weeks old:   puppies are vaccinated for Kennel Cough (intranasal); puppies are de-wormed with Strongid-T for 3 days and are treated with Frontline Plus for fleas and ticks

9 weeks old:  puppies are vaccinated with a combination vaccine plus Corona

9-12 weeks old:   puppies are now ready for adoption

10 weeks old:   puppies are de-wormed with Panacur for 3 days

12 weeks old:  vet check; puppies are vaccinated with a Rabies vaccination and with a combination vaccine plus Coronavirus and Leptospirosis; puppies are de-wormed with Ivomec and are treated with Frontline Plus for fleas and ticks; puppies are put on maintenance program
